In hundreds of scientific and medical studies far-infrared mineral therapy (FIM) has successfully treated over 100 different diseases and painful conditions. Below are 3 articles:
New studies show that an FDA-approved light-emitting device speeds the healing of wounds, even in difficult-to-treat diabetic ulcers. That's great news for the nation's 16 million diabetics and others who suffer from hard-to-treat chronic sores. Even better news: The latest study tested the device on diabetic neuropathy (loss of sensation or feeling); a previously irreversible condition that often leads to amputation. A joint study conducted at three Colorado medical centers followed 49 diabetics with type 1 or type 2 diabetes who had peripheral neuropathy in their feet. Most showed improvement after six 30-minute treatments. After 12 treatments, all had improved responses to standard tests that measure the impairment of sensation in diabetics, and their risk of amputation was greatly reduced. The study was presented last year at the American Diabetes Association Scientific Sessions.

". . . it can provide focused deep heating in therapeutic treatments such as those to increase blood circulation and metabolism. Clinical studies have shown some of the following benefits: decreased inflammation and edema from soft tissue injuries; relief of pain, including arthritis pain; promotion of circulation and healing; healing of skin disorders; and balancing of the nervous system."
HYPERTHERMIA FOR CHRONIC PAIN (Heat Therapy)
Fever is one of the body's most powerful defenses against disease. Hyperthermia (heat therapy) artificially induces fever in patients who are unable to mount a natural fever response to infection, inflammation, or other health challenges, and may be useful for treating chronic pain. A recent form of hyperthermia employs far-infrared (FIR) energy to treat a variety of disease conditions and to speed detoxification and recovery from muscle sprains and other injuries. Far-infrared wavelengths occur just below (“infra”) visible red light in the electromagnetic spectrum. At the molecular level, FIR exerts strong rotational and vibrational effects that are biologically beneficial.
Although the wavelengths of FIR are too long for the eyes to perceive, we can experience its energy as gentle, radiant heat, which can penetrate up to [3] inches beneath the skin. Among FIR's healing benefits is its ability to stimulate inflammation, which is necessary for a period of time in order to heal injuries such as a pulled muscle. FIR also appears capable of enhancing white blood cell function, thereby increasing immune response and the elimination of foreign pathogens and cellular waste products. Additional benefits include the ability to stimulate the hypothalamus, which controls the production of neurochemicals involved in such biological processes as sleep, mood, pain sensations, and blood pressure; enhancing the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the body's soft tissue areas; and the removing accumulated toxins by improving lymph circulation.
